Having studied a History and Politics degree at the University of Auckland, Lucie is particularly interested in stone as a material intersection between history and culture.

They primarily work with Black Jade, Karā, and Pakohe. Their practice focuses on ubiquitous objects that often go unnoticed, transforming them through materials traditionally viewed as precious.
